Thanks Tine I need to hear that about the leggings! Funny... I like them too and I think they look great on others, but when I go to where them out, I'm always a bit hesitant. I need to make like Nike and Just Do It
Auddie - agree! Fabulous coat! I don't know what this Value Village is, but I sure wish they'd open one near me. You have the cutest stuff from there
I like to dress up as Edie Sedgwick - my upstairs computer is dead now so I can't download the photos onto a file and put them on here - so pictures will be on hold. I look very eerily similiar to her.
When I saw this thread, I just couldn't resist. Playing dress up is like my mantra everyday! Of course, there are some things that I wouldn't wear to pick up groceries or anything like that. These are outfits that I might not wear out not because I'm not brave enough, but going on the tube cud be difficult with these get-ups:
I love the blurriness of this picture.
Can you see my serious pout?
Uniqlo stripey top
Black and white poofy dress (Ebay) I love the sounds the tafetta skirt makes...it's all rustly and swishy!
Vintage silver and white belt (Peekaboo)
Grey hi-top pointy sneakers (LCX@HK)
Grey 'rasta' woolen hat (HK)
The next one revolves around the shoes really. I love these shoes to bits, but the 5" heel is a bit too high for me to handle so they've just been sitting on my shelf:
They look really bad in this picture, but they are so gorgeous! Dark metallic colours in stripes all with a platform heel.
Topshop navy sequin cape
Vintage gold slip dress (Beyond Retro)
Black butterfly belt (MMW=My Mother's Wardrobe)
Petrol leather gloves (MMW)
and of course the lovely shoes from Shelley's (who would have thought I'd find nice shoes there of all places )
Wow....that was really fun dressing up........now I have to put on some black pumps and go to work....damn.....
