I haven't got my digi cam working well so these pics aren't very good

Anyway, I hardly ever get a chance to wear some of my favourite vintage so I love to play dress-up

In the first pic I'm wearing my 40s beaded crepe dress, 40s bag and 40s style t-bar shoes. It's a pity the beading doesn't show up well.

In the second pic I'm in my mod 60s coat with faux fur collar and sleeve trims and wide patent belt. You can't see in the pic, but the dress that goes under is very mod and very very pink.

thanks alex, yes, let's keep this up. love the outfits charlotte, both of them!

okay here's a new one from me. my black linen oscar de la renta dress from the 1970's ($3 from the thrift store )...the underlayer, which you can't really see, is black tulle so the dress sort of 'rustles' when you walk...

oooh I love this thread!!! This reminds me of myself. I randomly buy so many outrageous poofy vintage prom-type dresses from the 50's because I love all the tulle and organza and details and colors. Of course I have nowhere to wear them, I just like to open my closet and look at them. I'll have to put them on and take pictures to post here later!!! I have so many other crazy items I haven't had use for yet but have just tried on together for fun when I get bored...I'll have to do that again...and take pictures...
