Utopia...your dress is absolutely gorgeous! Such a great find...!!

Wyatt...I think your dress worn as a top is cool! I like the lion head print at the back...!! Its different, but thats a good thing!

Wyatt that is a seriously scary dress. I love it!!

This first dress was a thrift store find. It's probably late 60s - early 70s, made in Italy from very clingy polyester fabric, and probably quite expensive when it was originally bought. It's so ugly, I like it.

I bought the second dress in New Zealand in the early 90s. It's by the NZ label Glory. It doesn't show very well in the pic but the front is a plain sheath but the back has an amazing tiered fishtail. I knew I would never have anywhere to wear it..but I just had to have it. The belt was actually the collar of an old beaded jacket from the 60s (that was damaged). I converted it so that I can wear it like this or on a jacket as a separate collar.

but i also adore the shoes

^^ wow too cute!! I certainly could use a dress like that ... Lately I have been rummaging around my mum's closet as well ...

Anyways, I'm trying on a few things, that I'll probably wear soon ...
Right now I'm really liking the "what used to be a skirt" thing worn as a corset. I'm wearing it over a plain black shirt, just under the breast. The shirt is unbuttoned.

I want to be you, so I can wear the coat and look like a doll.

If I can drum up a cam from somewhere I'll post pics too. Maybe tomorrow already
