Yea. And I always thought I'm just not one of those people. I'm so sensitive and take everything personally and cry easily... But I found out that you can still be positive and strong when you just keep a positive attitude - and don't expect the worst but rather try to see at the positive side of things... Never forget that often your worries are nothing compared to something serious. It really helps me being more content when I see people in wheelchairs or after an accident being so strong and positive... I dont know if that sounds awful... I just admire those people so much. And I've definitley learned from them to accept who I am and be the best version of myself.
^ Yeah, I'm over that taking things personally deal Used to, so not worth it. The reality is that what people are doing is all about them. I can try to improve the situation, but you have to realize you're not the cause, and you have to know when to cut people loose. Right now I'm dealing with some very odd people at work, so I know what you mean ... on my break this afternoon I was reading the article in the current Vogue about how the US military deploys women with children like no other country in the world. The Army deploys you when your baby is only 4 mos. old. And then it was going into the harrowing things the women are experiencing, and it definitely made me think, hey, these people may be crazy, but at least my life's not in danger (I think ) ...

^ thinking on same lines. I'm from RAF family and beyond as my great-grandad was in the RFC and grandad was a navigator on the Lancasters. One of my dearest residents at work served in the WAAF in WW2, but what really brought me to earth was a programme called 'Women on the Front Line' about RAF servicewomen in Afghanistan and a firewoman with a 4 month old baby. She was so positive and professional, but a loving, caring mum too. If she can do it, we all can. Her life is on the line, she lives for each day and makes the most of it. Our servicewomen are an example to us all. (Everywhere & every nationality)

i have to find a new way of getting rid of this physical energy...
and staying fit...
thinking about taking some sort of self defense class...
like karate or judo...
i don't know...i have to do more research...
but i think it's the right thing to do...

I try to regularly weave new purchases like jewelry and shoes in to my look and that is what helps me the most. Other than that I just get up every day and go with whatever I pulled for the week.

Krav Maga might be the thing for you... it's high energy, gives you strength, boosts your confidence and is super fun!
I just went on a cleaning and clearing spree since none of my flatmates are home and I feel so much better now things are fresh and clean again . When you're surrounded by clutter it drains your energy. Too bad it sometimes takes me a while to realize it's the stuff around me that's bringing me down..
^ Very true ... there's something to that old saying 'cleanliness is next to godliness' ... now if I could just remember how great it feels every time I procrastinate about housework

Poor softie Rollerskating, the bane of your existence
I feel so much better now that I've moved to a bigger flat, it's 20 m2 bigger than the old one plus there are super high ceilings. We painted the whole shabang white and lightened the wooden floors. I feel so calm. We didn't buy more furniture, it's just so rare that you actually have room to spare so we're enjoying it a lot.
