A girl wore leggings/tights @ yoga. The bottom wasn't covered. They were so tight that the whole class could see her uterus
 I'm considering doing yoga blindfolded.

Ugh, detest this look. I remember ages ago I was at the opening night of this play, and this woman wandered past me in a men's dress shirt with a big thick belt around it and tights. Not so bad, but I could see the gusset of the tights and her underwear for goodness sakes! That's when it's getting a tad too short. Anyway, I got introduced to her later on in the night by my companion. The woman was the playwright. Glad I didn't say anything to the person I was with. |

Tights ARE pants... if you're a wrestler or some kind of athlete. I was on that bandwagon about how *footless tights* were all the rage, especially under skirts. Let's face it. Tights and leggings don't offer true functionality. And unless you're wearing one of those old early '90s-style athletic tights, tights are NOT pants. Go with skinny jeans and pants if you want a skin-tight pair of pants. Some people will usually find all kinds of ways to wear tights with certain outfits. Or if you're going to wear tights or leggings, makre sure it's paired with some kind of bottoms or even with a tunic. I guess wearing footless tights with a tunic or dress has that kind of pants feel. But still, they aren't true pants. I haven't seen many fashion disasters around my way to say that I've seen tights worn as pants and think it's tacky and tasteless. Tights aren't pants. Leggings can and could be pants, not tights.

I find this look so trashy.. There's a few (!!) girls in my class at school who love wearing the MK Olsen look head-to-toe with wayfarers, plaid shirts (not shirtdresses - shirts!) and, of course, tights that are much too revealing for their own best. Ah, high-school fashion is entertaining sometimes..
