I agree - tights are not pants!
However, I don't mind using tights (or is it leggings? it's the opaque type I am refeering to..) as a layering piece. Basically if it's worn with anything that covers the butt (rule applies even when said wearer is bending down!), I think it's all right. I still do that nowadays, with shorts dresses or skirts. |

I find this look totally vulgar...
I don't even like the opaque leggings/t-shirt combo (dresses, tunics are exceptions!)... It just looks incredibly trashy, imo... & not in a fun, kitsch way either...

i think they look tacky. especially if the leggings have lace at the bottom. other than that, they make you look rather unflattering. the only few acceptable clothes to wear with leggings, imo is dresses and still, that depends on the dress itself. but hey, thats just me.

I kind of hate the usage of leggings more than tights. But that's because I would use tights under dresses, but not as pants. I would not use leggings under or instead of anything and I actually wore leggings the first time around when I was probably about 10 so it's kind of weird for me. I don't think I would find anyone around here to give these flyers to. That's a great name for a website though.
