Washing distressed jeans

Hi.

didn't know where to post this...

I recently bought a heavily distressed jean that I am scared to just throw in the washer.
I really need to wash it because I got all these dirty stuff on it changing my tires...

I am afraid all the distressed areas will turn in to a huge holes.

Could I just throw it in the washer?
what should I do?

no tag? if you're really worried, just get them dry cleaned

It might help to wash them inside out. Read the label for washing instructions.

And if you really like them that much, you could always handwash them, but I think with jeans, that might be really hard to do.

Washing inside out won't help if they're heavily distressed. Normal washing will make the holes noticeably bigger. Either hand wash gently and air dry or dry clean.

Put them into a washing bag for delicate lingerie and...to the washmachine! No damages will be done.
