Hello! I bought these lace shorts from Zara

I've worn them with a cream lace top before but struggled to find anything to do with them since. Please help!

^I agree, I think some tights would look nice too. Those shorts are really pretty and I think the lace detail should be highlighted, so I think it's best to keep the top simple. If I were wearing it I think I would pair them with a satin blouse in a neutral tone tucked in. Kind of like these:
I would probably wear some ankle boots with it too. Good luck!

You could make them more casual too, like with one of those slouchy alex wang tees, a boxy jacket, some solid grey tights, and flatforms/wedges? they'd probably look way cute with an oversized chunky knit or cocoon-style cardigan too.

I think those shorts would look good with a white shirt and maybe a blazer and cardigan too. Black tights and ballet flats on your feet. Also a striped blouse would look great with the shorts and a pair of sandals.

I got these Levi's olive corduroy skinny jeans from Urban Outfitters. I'm going to a party tonight, so I need something from my closet to wear with it, since you all don't know the contents of my closet, please just recommend something and I'll find the closest thing to it. Thanks!

What colour tights with lilac skirt?
I'd really appreciate your help with a little dilemma I have.

I bought a lilac coloured knee length pencil skirt for work to add some variety to my usual dark grey, black and blue pieces. The problem is that I don't want to have bare legs or wear flesh coloured tights for personal reasons.

I would really appreciate some colour theory help, to work out what coloured tights and then shoes/tops/jackets would work. I don't want to limit the skirt to an otherwise all black outfit, and even then, am concerned that may be too stark!

I'd love your advices or illustrative pictures

^I am actually thinking about getting a lilac pencil skirt too , and I do plan on wearing it mostly with bare legs, but I think a pair of grey, navy or burgundy tights would look great with it. And if you are up for it, some bright red ones as I think red and lilac looks wonderful together.

On top I would wear some kind of neutral colour, basically every neutral colour expect black.

I would use strappy stiletto sandals in. A metallic would be good. Maybe silver. A nice dark green or purple would look lovely as well. Great dress! Where is it from?

I think basic platform pumps (YSL "tribute" style) in a statement colour (or a nude) would look great!
