sundresses
wide floppy hats
big sunglasses
the scent of sunblock
bright colors or light soft colors
sandals
light fabrics
wavy hair (since it's typically too hot for me to want to straighten it all the time)
For me summer means:
Sunburns
An excessively dark tan
Suffocating heat
Hating my wardrobe because not even shorts and T-shirts seem cool enough
Hating all my colognes because the heat makes even the lightest fragrances too strong
Wishing for permanent winter
You can probably tell I don't like winter

I'd rather be anything than ordinary.
- The smell of salt water
- Going to the beach (which, I suppose, goes hand in hand with the first item on my list)
- Disneyland (I usually visit during the summer)
- Hats
- Sunscreen
- Watching ferries come and go
And, of course, the sudden burst of insects and arachnids like wasps and spiders.
- the smell of coconut
- beach - and obviously sand
- maxi dresses in bright colours with sandals and a bright pedicure
- big sunglasses and straw bags
- mojitos
- swatting mosquitoes away and putting out citronella scented candles to try and keep them at bay
This, too - at the moment, I think there's about nine fans going in my house. My home isn't able to be installed with an air conditioner system (which I'm reminded of every day), so it's that or bake in the heat. My thermographic camera said my windows yesterday were over 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
