White dresses and flat sandals in beige and gold. And chunky shell jewelry or big colorful beads to compliment. I love wearing white in summer. And I love wearing black all winter!
Weekdays:
- dirty gray uniform t-shirt
- blue or greenish shorts
- various gimp bracelets
- old sandals/flip flops
Weekends:
Skirts, dresses, attempts at makeup, tank tops, occationally heels!
Anything that makes me not feel like some kind of grubby little boy.
(By the way, this job seems to be having the same effect on my co-worker. She's naturally an enormous tomboy. And apparently, whenever she now gets the chance, she's been straightening her hair and wearing makeup. And, she actually wore a skirt for her boyfriend, which almost never happens for her. Interesting...)

I go the opposite direction and tend to slob out in the summer. I do a lot of gardening and yard work, so I wear old cruddy clothes that can get muddy and sweaty. I also bike a lot, which involves a LOT of sweat, and while I do have to dress nicer for work, it is all clothing that can withstand being toted 3.7 miles in a backpack and changed into in a stall in the ladies' toilets.
I like bright candy-colors for summer clothing and lightweight, body-skimming cuts in breathable fabrics like cotton, linen, rayon, and blends of any of the above.
I love the excuse to wear big, floppy beach hats, too, though I generally seem to have a bicycle helmet on my head.
Being all greasy with sunscreen kind of precludes any major makeup schemes, but I do have fun with fruity and lightweight summer perfumes. I find that sweat "seasons" CK1 into an excellent scent for me, but any other time of the year that I am not getting hot and heavily sweaty it otherwise stinks on me.
I don't have summer shoes because my feet are horrible and shouldn't see the light of day. I just wear my lumberjack boots, as I do all the rest of the year!
