Something I would wear to a wedding.

A lovely romantic, feminine feel to it with a pretty teal. Colorful without looking like you are trying to get all the attention.

^ That's so pretty and feminine! And BIG fan of the square neckline... the Rebecca Beeson shirt I wore today has a square neckline JUST like that one, and ruffles as well.

I have come seeking advice. My bridesmaids are all wearing the same gold dress, but I'm unsure about the shoes and jewelry... let them pick their own, or give them some guidelines? Along the lines of shoes, I was going to say: pick what you want, but it has to be a matte gold, and strappy. But then I began thinking that having a pop of color would be great, in which case I'd have them wear the same shoes... and I would like them to wear pearl necklaces, but perhaps I should let them pick out their own pearl jewelry? Not sure about what to do with the matchy-matchy stuff...

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Ugh I love that Lanvin dress! Lanvin is so perfect and so out-of-reach.

Gossiping, I know how hard it is...I really like the third dress though! I'm a sucker for all things long and flowy :p

I finally ended up getting this from Cacharel, am looking for accessorizing ideas. Gold necklace and flat gold sandals maybe...?

I wasn't quite sure where to post this, so I may end up hitting a couple of threads on tfs. I'm in a bit of crisis mode over my bridesmaid shoes!

Here's the dress on my maid of honor:

And I'm not sure what to do, shoes-wise... I want an AFFORDABLE shoe for my bridesmaids, since they'll all flying into Colorado for my wedding. I can't decide if I should go with a dark purple or a black... and I'm afraid that gold may be too matchy-matchy... and I can't decide if they should wear some fantastic pumps, or super-strappy sandals (which are surprisingly hard to find)... the color is the most difficult choice.

Should I have them find some strappy black shoes on their own?

Does anybody have opinions on the following shoes? My bridesmaids either don't care or just don't know what they want - IDEALLY I would love something similar to the first, but those cost waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much $$$ (but it's an example of what would really look great):

(exoticexcess.com)

Now more realistic options:

(target.com)

(Below - In dark purple or black OR any color that would look nice, as they're dyeable in a bunch of colors):

(davidsbridal.com

(payless.com)

And some links:

^Have you tried Nine West yet? They generally have good sales and they might have shoes that work. endless.com has lots of Nine West sale shoes. Would these work? They might be too purple: http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/3048323?...C__FPFAfym662w

Definitely purple! I love the idea of purple with that dress. Ideally a rich vibrant amethyst, not too sombre. A purple necklace would look great too. You look lovely.

Erin, I'm pretty sure we have a What to wear when you're a bridesmaid thread ... I like your first pick too.

Melisande, my thought is black patent sandals & jewelry that picks up the color in the dress. Enamel? Perhaps you could do some little charms on a fine chain at your collarbone ... does that length work for you? Would turquoise work with the blue in the dress? I've seen some really pretty turquoise jewelry ... Tell me what you think & I'll look for some options ...

PS Don't know if you already have presents for your attendants planned--I think my sister bought our shoes for us.
