This one's so pretty- it'd definately be my choice. Also, I have to agree with the not wearing black thing. Not a good sign for a wedding.

Thanks Michelle for the recs but I think with the exception of the first and the last dresses that those are a bit too matronly for me. I'm 18 and I want my dress choice to reflect that. Eurodoll, where are those dresses from?

Oh that one is gorgeous!

If I had the money or occasion it'd be my choice!

What time of day is the wedding? Where is the wedding? By that I mean, what part of the world/country and what sort of place? Is it in a church or at a hotel? Outdoors or indoors? Do tell!

It starts in late afternoon and it's all being held in a local reception hall, no church at all. Service is at 3, drinks at 5, dinner and dance to follow. Reception is some time in there. It's in Canada though the bride's family is chilean (though no one is flying in from Chile or anything).

Eurodoll, I will definately check the BCBG store in Calgary when I head up as they usually have lots of pretty float chiffon dresses. That pink one is gorg, though a bit too risque for a wedding.

I'm hoping those cute Behnaz Sarafpour dresses go on sale at net-a-porter. Some other dresses that I was looking at there...:
I know it's black but...I can't help it! I love black. and it's universally flattering.

That was a backless shift dress from Alberta Ferretti.

Maurizio Pecoraro Grecian style dress:

Though I think that neckline is a little too daring for a wedding.

Oddly like this really simple sort of casual Matthew Williamson wrap dress:

I know that while this is a wedding a lot of people there will be young...however I don't want to be inappropriate...
