We're such a friendly bunch around here...it's so uplifting!

Helena...your outfits are GORGEOUS! I love margaret howell's pieces, but, like Hebden, have not yet come across anything in stores
FTB...I like both of yesterday's outfits, it seems like many of us were caught by unseasonably warm weather
Hebden...the scarecrow graphic is kind hard to see, but sounds very cool. I like it with the allstars; today's outfit sounds great, I love Club Monaco's basic skirts and tops.
emi...love the sketches again. They're so whimsical
The_Ida...where to begin? I love your trench, especially with that skirt (does it have a lace/petticoat detail at the hem?), and those shoes are great as well
fashonista.dk...lovely! The silver white combo is just beautiful
faust...WOW! the whole ensemble is hardcore awesome.
castorpollux...love all of your pieces and am waiting with everyone else for the full-lenth mirror for you

Today:

black wrap dress
nude legs
black ballet flats
my NEW incredible scarf...my parents gave it to me last night, a gift from their trip to Greece
ivory bangle

details!

I have had so much to catch up on...thank you for your comments on my barely visible silhouette a few days ago.I still don't seem to find time to take pics during daylight,so we'll see when next I post a pic.

Tangerine I like the last outfit you posted.I can't wait to see you wearing your J Lindeman belt, though

emi25 so cute, the sketches!! The outfits look good too.

Hebden So beautifully put together,as always. i used to aspire to dress like that when I was thinner .

The Ida a wonderful, whimsical outfit.I adore that bag!!

Fashionista.dk...you look so good in that colour, and that's quite an achievement.Very ladylike look.

Hi Heels pretty top.I loved your previous look with the white billowy sleeved blouse,too...something about it reminded me of Anna Karina

Aicha a lovely casual look.

Rhizm..I really like your style!!

Castorpollux You have wonderful clothes and outfits, but I have to laugh at your pics! I always think "Castorpollux has left the building!!" And wonder what you were wearing when you took the pic

Clavdia What a beautiful scarf, and how beautifully you wear it.

Chanel, I like the diagonal red stripes.

Adorefaith, you look pretty and comfortable.

Faust...and MRS FAUST!!! the long-awaited NIN concert...looking very good indeed!!!

****QUESTION: Why do those Ann Dem boots look so good on Faust and so hideous on me???Will some of the ladies who have these boots please show me how to wear them? Otherwise they are soon to be Ebay-bound...

Thanks all!

Quirky, there is an Ebay auction right now for a pair of these babies. Inside of it there are very good quality runway pictures. Basically they look best with cropped/skinny pants on women.

Ida Lovely shoes and bag...very lady like!
fashionista.dkBeautiful shades of beige.
HiHeels Interesting detailing on the top!
Aicha Cool t....
Rhizm Love the Helmut Lang jacket.
Faust Those trousers are really cool.....all leathered up! You and Mrs Faust are so matchy!
Castor Really like the jeans and those boots.
Clavdia That is the most beautiful scarf I've seen in a long time......your parents have exquisite taste!
Chanel Love all the assymetrics of the outfit....even your hair is jaggy! Love it.
adore Comfy is good......I still love those white cropped pants (so hard to pull off!)

Today, I dared to don a miniskirt to the office. I was actually inspired by Ally McBeal coz her skirts were SHORT SHORT even though she worked in a strait laced law firm. Turns out mine wasn't that risque anyway since another colleague had on a super tight and much shorter skirt!

Uniqlo stripey top
Reiss grey sleeveless shirt w/ corsage (buttons up the back)
Lux grey flared miniskirt
Black tights
Salvatore Ferragamo black bow pumps
Grey satin headband
Black beads

adorefaith, your outfit is very cool and chic.

chanel, you look so cute. I love your outfit.. and hair!

clavdia, that scarf is divine. It's so greek goddess. I love it.

castor, I love the boots.

Aicha, I love the t-shirt as well. I used to babysit for a family who were one of the executives for Guiness. I have some Guiness paraphanelia somewhere...

No picture today, since my camera is m.i.a....
-paper and denim jeans
-Commes Des Garcon black tee with green lace and red piping
-burgundy cosabella cami underneath that
-white skinny horsehair belt
-black ballet flats
-big oatmeal chunky grandpa thrift store cardigan
-gold random necklaces and two gold bangles

I bought it on holiday, in a lovely shop in Dublin. It was near the Trinity College, I think.

Thanks Faust...I'll be watching that one with interest. It's the first time I've seen them there...have been checking for a while. The trouble is that these boots look best unzipped and unbuckled, but then they make such a rattly noise when you walk.Plus,my style has changed since the days when they were my dream shoe .Not to mention that I'm not the skinniest.

You look absolutely great in them though .

thanks. you or susie b. want today's top? i like the top, but i don't like the top on me.
i don't think those ann dem boots are too butch. i love balancing something really butch with something super feminine. faust had a great suggestion of cropped pants - or culottes. or a short skirt (with knee socks over tights), or a mid-length flowing skirt - or best of all actually, a dress. a vintage shirt-dress style would be fantastic. in the summer with crisp white linen. oh don't ebay them. i have a different pair of ann dem. boots, which i am stumped on how to wear them, but i'll hang on to them.
maybe i'm the one who ought to be posting for help.
