urd - your stripy leggins rock ! .. looking very cool today.

very nice and autumn-y, hebden

..
long knitted gold and black h&m tank,
off-white zara top with purple/grey/navy flower print and puffy sleeves,
very old blue levis jeans,
gold sam&libbys,

..and somehow my bag sneaked in the picture as well it's purple tweed in a herringbone pattern with leather straps and front pocket by longchamp. found it in an outlet in strassbourg a gazillion years ago.

I'm so happy you guys liked my embroidery! I've been working on some other projects, but they're intended for christmas gifts, and taking up ALL of my "arts and crafts" time. Thank you to susie, softgrey, curious, .francesca, tangerine, nr9, mettchen, hebden

Where has maiden_voyage been??

susie...I think I'm in love with those adorable flats, as well as the idea of a rainbow of available striped shirts.
lovely_lady...I do hope you get a chance to post pics soon, your outifts sound, well, lovely
curious...I love the vest and the burgundy sweater, you always look so sharp!
tangerine...I've been meaning to tell you how much I love the velvet underground quote as your sig...that and the lines from "This Charming Man" are my favorite "fashion" lyrics ever.
emi...please tell me that your too-cute drawings are on purple post-it notes!
urd...those boots! you always look so fresh and fun
mettchen...beautiful top and shoes, and yes, I'm a huge fan of clothes that speak literally as well as metaphorically...I'm a librarian/grad student, so that has a lot to do with it too.
hebden...thanks! I love your APC stripey top. and my karma is depleted as well; I feel as though karma should be an inexhaustible well, especially for this thread!

No pic today, class got out late last night and I was exhausted this morning. BUT, verbal description:

black full-length skirt, the kind that hugs and then pools onto the floor, v. edward gorey
grey tank with braiding detail along the v-neckline
black open-knit sweater,
closed at the center with a mother-of-pearl inlay feather brooch.
black ballet flats
red lips

Looking/sounding very stylish, everyone.

I haven't posted an outfit in a hundred thousand years, but I've got some time on my hands today, and look, there's this shiny new thread to post in...this one's for you, softgrey :

Nude tank top
Chestnut brown (with a slight sparkle) l-s v-neck wool jersey dress - Veronique Branquinho
Pink-and-forest green knee socks w/butterfly pattern - Bernhard Willhelm
Black round-toed heels w/dotted straps - Marc by Marc Jacobs (I'd prefer the shoes without the straps for this outfit, but unfortunately they are not removeable. :p )

Very shoddy pics today, sorry.
