Much love to everyone - you guys really do inspire me! Special mention to kokopuff, voodoo, faust, fash'ho and urd! Actually, everyone is looking pretty fab....

Y/day I broke a first date rule but wearing a mini-skirt (it's a bit obvious I know!) but I really wanted to wear something brown with the tea-stained shirt I made..... anyhow, I don't think I could look tarty even if I tried...... (not my way or nature!).

Tea stained shirt made out of lace doillies, cotton collar and an old school shirt.
Topshop brown denim wrap-over mini-skirt
Vintage Roland Cartier cream bow pumps.
Wooden bead necklace

So many outfits so little time...

So I'll start by saying you all look great.

Right, as the weather was lovely this weekend, here's what I wore on Saturday and Sunday just gone:

SATURDAY:
2006_05_06_[01].jpg 2006_05_06_[02].jpg
Zip-up sweater - Sixty
Betty Crocker Tee - Abercrombie & Fitch
Jeans - GAP
Ballets - New Look

SUNDAY:
2006_05_07_[01].jpg
Zara Tee (worn before, a week or so ago IIRC)
Blue Jeans - Denim & Co (bought in a charity shop on Saturday)
Sequiny Brown Ballets - Atmosphere @ Primark

When I get time I will post some comments.

EIR: love how you turned an otherwise "boring" outfit into a not-so-boring outfit w/ the scarf..
Vitello: nice cut on the pants..
Kokopuff: all good, w/ honorable mention reserved for the necklace..
VoodooMary: love the skirt w/ the red blouse/belt/heels..
StyleExpert: cute necklace..
Faust: all good too; would love to see the CNational jacket..
Susie: what can I say? a genius of PersonalStyle if ever there was one..hope all went well on your first date (Lord knows I know how awkward those can be..)

From Saturday nite..coincidentally, a bit of StyleExpert & a bit of Faust..
-black sleeveless hooded shirt from Cloak..
-green camo-print t from army-navy surplus store..looking back, I shouldve stuck to my gut-instinct & wore my black t instead..oops, my bad)..
-black straight-leg pants from MiuMiu..
-brown NDC brogues..
(later accessorized w/ my Shaun Leane wallet-chain)..

Thank you But pictures can lie, you know? :p I have actually gained about 20 pounds during the past 6 months due to some medicine I've been taking. I just hate not being able to fit into my clothes

Susie: I love your outfit for your date. I don't find it tarty at all - actually I think the laces balanced it off - if you know what I mean...

I don't have a camera just know but I just wore jeans with a long blue tank under a white top with laces and comfy leather sandals today.

Tinetush: Cute headband, I've been looking for a nice fat one on ebay.

Chairfan: I love your cropped blazers. Super cute!
I made my jeans. They are Dickies stretch pants and I just sewed up the legs to make them skinny. I'm glad you like them. xoxo
