Winter miniskirts

Opaque tights with minskirts is one of the best ways to wear the mini this winter. Boots are a must. You can also wear leggings.

LOVE the miniskirts for winter idea, 'cept...it's not very ideal in my environment, even with tights. Maybe early fall, but not winter...

But I think the look is super chic and with the times.

I'd love to continue to wear my mini's in the winter, but I live in Chicago and no matter what tights I wear, or if I have my boots on... I'm still going to freeze.

I hadn't thought of putting tights under my fishnets!

Come on girls...you've just got to be tough. Get those legs out. It's not so cold here (in UK) but my legs are going on show! If it snows I'm not sure if I'll brave it...but I might!

I already mentioned in another post that I can't stand it when people wear miniskirts and leggings or tights. Hell I don't even like pantyhose.

If you think about it, exactly how long are your legs exposed in the cold? From the time you leave your house to the time you get into your car...how long does that take? Then leaving your car and entering the building you are going to.

Your legs really aren't staying in the cold unless you have to wait for public transportation or are waiting in line at a club.


But ladies please please please remember, if you are going to wear a miniskirt with no leggings, please use lotion on your legs. Nothing kills a great set of legs like dry ashy skin!

I thought everyone was wearing bright tights, black woolly tights and also i find myself hearing about 'cobwebbed' tights all the time.... I've seen that in at least 2 women's magazines recently.... i think pretty polly (i think that's the brand) make a pair that everyone seems to be raving about-i think they'd look good with a mini and boots!
Also 50's style stockings were mentioned in the new december UK Vogue...

Hi Greekchick,

You are right. Your legs aren't really out for that long in the cold even on the coldest day.

So there are no excuses! Come on girls let's show a bit of bravery here. We work our legs hard in the gym, we spend a fortune waxing and exfoliating etc etc. Why shouldn't we let the world see the effort we are taking!!

Amber...love the look...those tights are superb. I just don't see the point of wearing a mini then covering up the legs with thick tights or leggings!!
