Yeah I understand you, because you are perhaps swedish? I am from Norway, and here it's not that popular yet. AND what's great; we sell it at the store where I work, so I get a rebuff (if that's the right word..?)!!! But as someone said earlier here, or maybe some other place; the clothes are a bit overpriced..

Yes swedish, and it's very popular here, and has been for a while...
About the overprice I can't tell. Here in sweden they cost around the same as the other brands. But i've understand that in foreign countries they can be a lot more expensive!

yeah in sweden acnes are definately cheaper... they are not too big in finland yet which is cool..in sweden i see them everywhere. even the bands wear it (eg. the sounds). also two other swedish brands i like are cheap monday and dr. denim.. they are much cheaper but have also great tapered jeans with a good price...

i also dig the simplicity of the acne clothing.. but i guess that is a very scandinavian thing..

Yeah Cheap Mondays are nice too i must say. Except for the logo at the back, but it's easy to take away. About simplicity, yes that's a scandinavian thing indeed. Oh, i wish there were so many more brands available in Sweden. This is really off topic but for example APC is only available in one store (!) in Sweden. Maybe that's great because not so many people wear it but still...

Me like Cheep Mondays too, but the one pair I bought in Stockholm before Christmas turned out to shrink a LOT more than expected.. So I don't know what to do with them. They are so tight that I don't feel comfortable. Haha.. But they were cheep though :P But Vigge! Don't complain about not having many brands in Sweden. Have you been in Norway??

Hehe..... I knew that raw denim shrink, I sell it myself. But these were more than normal i think. To tell customers that they shrink about 5 %, but my cheap mondays shrinked much more i think. But on the other hand.. I should have bought them bigger, yeah. And I don't think they'll stretch back, since the fabric contains 2 % spandex, and then they keep their passform very well.. So.. I think I'm gonna sell them, or give them to a second hand shop or something like that. What kind of cheap mondays do you have? Mine are some kind of blue with an orange seam. My mate have some black ones with zippers on the pockets behind, and zippers down at the bottom. they are awsome! CM also have some baggy ones who looks cool too!

I just saw these on ebay and I thought I would share. I wish I was a 33/32 male so I could get these. They are a decent price if you live in NA.

Acne is from Sweden. They are becoming more and more famous internationally. I live in Sweden and know that the brand is very famous and popular around here. Naturally they are quite expensive as they are designer jeans however it is a considerably good price for designer jeans. I do not own a pair myself and have never really looked into the company much but I know a lot of people around here like their jeans. Guys, especially, like Acne jeans. Acne also makes other clothing items aside from jeans.

If Acne is going to be played out in Sweden soon then you guys are spoiled. Too many good designers / labels in one region.

The line is definitely not earth shattering in innovation, but they make extremely well directed pieces for everyday wear. Simple, well designed, NO LOGOS ANYWHERE, and much less than luxury brands. The modern silhouettes they use, alone, make the price you pay worth it, and I completely disagree about 90% of the denim washes being crap. (I would say it's more like 30%, AND the new "Pure" wash is horrible compared to the old "Pure" wash.) I think it is a great line for what it is but it is not like Acne could every replace Galliano.....

In terms of jeans, I swear by Acne Jeans, but their washes are quite horrible as some of you pointed out.

The Cash and Raw washes are the only washes I'm currently wearing, in fact I love them so much, I have multiple pairs of each (it might sound silly to have multiple pairs of the exactly same jeans, but to me it makes perfectly sense), just as backup.

Their clothes (especially their jackets and jerseys) are very well made, and considering their pricepoints, it's actually pretty decent. You can find an almost identical military jacket at Dior Homme, but with a three times higher pricetag, but somewhat the same quality (if not worse).

To the whole "played out" thing... How can something that anonymous, standard and basic be played out? I mean, often you can't really distinguish AJ from Cheap Mondays or A.P.Cs... I would perfectly understand this if this was a pair of True Religion jeans or something like that.. because then you would have something completely recognizable, in form of a loud backpocket design. So when you are going about in your TR jeans or whatever, and everyone else has them as well, it makes you and the others look like walking billboards, and those who don't have them, can immediately recognize them, that's when it's played out. With AJ it just isn't the case, because they are so anonymous, and basic.

Lastly, those huge markups are insane, I can't even start explain this ridicule.
