I see the costume-y side of it, not the whole collection, but a large chunk of it. Those Elizabethan collars for example, way too literal. And that last dress really drives the point home.

I think this is quite nice, I did not find it costumey at all. Nods to the the Tudor era, but done in a very modern way. It is not easy for anyone to be in her shoes, so kudos to her!

Yeah, this is very nice.

Gloriously feminine silhouettes with the no-nonsense, strict classic tailoring is what Sarah excels at. I'd much prefer the McQueen label be this mature, subtle refinery than the gaudy bedazzled pile of beads and feathers that they're hoping to pass as profound and innovative season after season since McQueen's passing.
