I think what Sarah is trying to do is maintain he McQueen aesthetic while still making the clothes commercial enough so women can wear it thus increasing profitability. Its not a bad collection but as stated before, it looks a bit Valli. Women will definitely be buying this tho...
this is a million times better than the ugly furry mess she sent out on the runway. im actually liking lots of pieces, for once. but yeah, doesn't really feel mcqueen at all.
I agree with those saying that it's better than what we saw in the runway, but that fact does not make this better. I don't like it. It lacks the McQueen "punch". It feels weird. It feels worn out. It's boring.
I like it. I'm sure there is more pressure on her to sell than there actually was for McQueen himself. I do wish she would go back to the stricter tailoring that McQueen was known for though.
