I like it so far, that could be because my final design project for school was all based on kimonos and that I'm partial to them to begin with.
Or maybe it's just because it's so much better than what he did last season.

Thank you! I love it all, the kimono's the gorgeous suiting the furs. And the women's peices, finally some real McQueen.

L-O-V-E IT!!!
Very gangster indeed as previously mentioned but also a bit dandy as well with a splash of a sort of 17th Century element.

I find myself hoping he carries the kimono theme over to his womens collection.
With his talent for cut and the dramatic lines of a kimono....it could be amazing.

all of a sudden..i'm over it. i know why, i was only excited to see that mcqueen has made a comeback to his wittier style in the women's line. i was hopeless after the last two collections.

This's a much more well-balanced collection than his last women's, with the visually inspiring not-so-wearable stuff and some very wearable outfits. Is the theme a kind British x Japanese one? (And I see knights as well.)

I absolutely hate the fit of McQueen's clothes. They have a certain 80's fit and pants that say: fat guy. I feel 20 years older when I try the stuff on, yet the styling strives to be so edgy. I admit I find the pieces themselves very boring or ridiculously over the top without some balance in between. Great for the catwalk (thank you) horrible for real life (no thanks).
