McQueen's looks on runway always just for showing. They actually create another wearable-collection which losing some over-the-top designs in the same theme/inspiration for sell. It's been doing like this for every season and you can check back in their official website.
For this collection, it's exciting to see the close-up and detail.
Love McQueen as always.

I like what I see so far. Very dramatic. She seems to prefer thematic collections the way McQueen did and if we ignore the styling here, we get some pretty unique-looking but likely wearable clothes. I say "likely' because it takes a person with serious attitude to pull these off.
PS. I am going to pretend the last 4 dresses never ever happened.
I actually really love this. And i really like those last two dresses, the 3rd from last is hideous though. I really respect Sarah Burton for keeping up with the Mcqueen aesthetic. Its nothing compared to his work, but you still know its Mcqueen just by looking at the collection.
Atleast Burton didnt destory the house, ala Valentino style.
Absolutely love the first half with the more structured tailored looks. That's undeniably McQueen. Really clever use of the beehive pattern which morphes into a snakeskin like pattern on some of the looks especially looks 2 and 3 in post #3. Quintessential McQueen from the first half
