Awww, Sarah finally tried so many new things, she finally caught the McQueen's spirit and made modern, sharp pieces... not.

I know that they do make some cash, but can't they just close the rtw and focus on accessories and fragrances? Because at this point it's just like the old Valentino- totally boring, totally irrelevant and totally not McQueen. I can see 5 new silhouettes or techniques here and we've already seen the rest before. Of course it's pretty, but it's not enough for this brand.

The closing dress and the way it's embellished and ruffled at the bottom to resemble a wave crashing down... Too bad the rest of the collection is either boring as dirt, overworked, or mildly unflattering. If she'd gone in the vein she did with the last look, we might've been onto something.

I see some D&G, a lot of Valentino, some Wunderkind, etc, but nothing from McQueen.

Love this collection! Last season was quite underwhelming but Sarah is definitely back. The finale look is everything and there's so much to feast your eyes on in general!

Another McQueen collection which has nothing to do with McQueen.

This yes!
It's official, McQueen has finally lost every shred of it's original identity. This is a sad sloppy mess.

McQueen will be save the day Giles Deacon will be in charge.

The thing about this brand is that Lee put so much of himself in his collections that the only way to continue is by having someone as obsessed and passionate about his fashion.

It's one thing to do something else with McQueen but without the spirit, it's just a glorified showroom collection.
McQueen loved fashion and he did so many diverse collections...

This is worse than Dolce & Gabbana. It's a pity because she is a gifted dressmaker and a rather good menswear designer.

Just stop it, don’t **** up Lee McQueen's legacy anymore, and let Burton go… She probably doesn’t want to be at this house, where she feels she has to make clothes within the very limited confines of Lee McQueen aesthetic, even though she has clearly jettisoned most of it, which means it’s practically nothing to do with the legendary designer.
No creative vision or direction to stick to as a fashion brand.

This 6-year-long mess has at least helped me make up my mind about resuscitation of fashion brands and brands being alive without the founding designers.
It’s just painful to see, especially when it’s happening to the house established by the very designer who triggered my interest in fashion.

For me this is her best collection since Spring 2012. Some not so great looks - the tartan lot and the more folksy dresses - but majority of it was really good. The craftsmanship here was stunning, the embroidery throughout was some of the best I've seen in a RTW collection in a long time which makes me believe some of this is demi-couture. With some looks if she removed sleeves here or lowered necklines there we would have some perfect dresses. The last 9 looks was the highlight of the collection.

I have not been a fan of majority of Sarah's work at McQueen, but this was a great collection, no matter what house it was shown for.
