What's going on with the fuzzy shoes? I need to see detail shots but they remind me of the bearded LV clogs.

As usual, very hit and miss. I like Alexander Wang, I really do, but sometimes it just looks confused. That said there are some great pieces - the jackets, the shredded and some of the sheer pieces towards the end of the collection.

Honestly, I strongly dislike the collection. If I can even call it that.
It was just so confusing.. and the use of fur was a disaster if you ask me. Everything looked very sloppy and unfinished, which I truly hate.
And the shoes were very Betsey Johnson.

This is far cleaner than what he has done before. Everything looks neater and nicer than usual. I can't get behind capes though.

I think the collection was a huge success! I admire how he always pushes himself. Only Wang could pull off making satin and fluff look hot!

Considering the runway, the clothes, the accessories, and the music (Nicki Minaj ), this has to be the best show New York has had to offer me so far this season.

I don't know, perhaps this is just a personal observation, but does anyone else get that sense of forced creativity in his more recent collections?
Couldn't agree more. To be frank it felt like this collection was full of pieces that were half done or done half-heartedly. I don't think I've liked any of his work since SS10

The cape in post #34 was definitely the statement piece from this collection. I would buy that in a heartbeat - I hope it goes into production.
