It would be safe to say that this is one of my favorite shows this season. The creative level that went into this collection is seriously insane. I thought the net pants were genius, I loved the printed sheer tunics and the leather dresses. There were two things that bothered me though, first is that the collection looked way too much fall/winter (with the leather long sleeved pieces and some other heavy fabrics) and of course the ugly white shoes which I completely disliked, but all in all I truly adore this masterpiece of a collection!

What mediocrity. As usual.

I applaud him for the mesh pockets. Never seen the before.

There were some really good black and white boyish pieces but the rest looked like a mix of racer/diver/hockey player clothes with some mesh fabric and embroideries. And those heels weren't that bad - I kind of liked them, they looked fresh.

The first few looks are so fall/winter. I loved the mesh-see-through pockets! The bags were interesting too.

Wang hits it out the park again.

Ok - before anyone else says it - it's a bit like a casualised/sporty, dumbed down US version of Balenciaga. But nothing too wrong about that. Similarly positioned, yet Wang does have his own signature.

Proper analysis subsequently. If anyone saw my post on SS12 trend predictions thread this was some of what I was talking about there.

the models like prisoners who took a very cold shower. Alexander wang is really trapped in 1985 forever I find lol.

I actually like most of this! A lot better than his wall street collection the fluffy shoes from last season.
Could do without some of the longer shorts and the white shoes are a bit questionable though.

Love the mesh pockets and leather pieces!
