Um another show with huge fur gloves. I like the black pant and top with the orange neck.

He seems obsessed with Tom Ford's Gucci Fall 2003 collection, most of his collections seem quite inspired by it.

Too many buttons sometimes. I love the dresses towards the end.

Another stunning collection from Joseph. However, I know he's friends with Alexander Wang and if my memory serves me well, a few seasons ago the same thing happened: they both had a very similar element in their respective collections. In this case, it would be fur gloves...

Well if this isn't a walk down mid-aughts Balenciaga memory lane...

This collection is so dried up, nothing pops. Last season was spectacular, this is just boring. That little hint of orange has already shown up in a few collections, I don't get it.

I'm really disappointed with this collection his last two collections were so rich and luxurious, while this is rich it just looks stale. I don't like the sleeve shape with the cropped bodies, it reminds me of balenciaga and Burberry fall 2011 in particular. It's not terrible, some of it looks nice, but it lacks any depth and flair.

This is bafflingly Balenciaga - Joseph is absolutely shameless.

I see dresses, coats and boots here that I last saw at Balenciaga Fall/Winter 2002, Fall/Winter 2003 and 2004, and those dresses with asymmetrical button closures look straight off the Balenciaga Spring/Summer 2005 runway. I just don't get it. How stupid do you think we are?

Ponchos, parkas and now fur mittens and double-layered coats: are pals Alexander Wang and Joseph Altuzarra doing a runway two-step?

Before his show on Saturday, Mr. Altuzarra insisted that he and Mr. Wang were not in cahoots. “I saw his show only 30 minutes ago,” Mr. Altuzarra said, meaning the online version. He professed surprise that both designers showed fur mitts and added, grinning, “Mine are better.”

NEW YORK FASHION WEEK
Coverage from in and around the New York shows.
Perhaps, but it’s definitely in Mr. Altuzarra’s interest to avoid any confusion, or repeated coincidences. However their ideas seem to bleed together, like the redundant gesture of layering a cropped jacket over a coat, Mr. Altuzarra has worked hard to stake out his own territory in New York. He should be looking for more ways to separate himself from the pack.

I like it especially the outerwear which seem to be his strongest skill; as a whole I love it but yeah It can't beat with last season.

LOL I simply love Cathy. She sees what we're all seeing, and has the cajones to point it out.
