Andres Azubel
Just wanted to introduce this designer to the forum board, he's currently carried at Bstore on Saville Row.
Has no website, however there are images available on his main myspace page. He's certainly worth a look. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm...endid=60478230 |

Thanks for creating a thread on this new designer, jhaime
In general gives a feeling of simple 'smart dressing' ![]() A lot of great textured knits and some interesting embellishments, details I also like the use of sheer fabrics ![]() ![]() ![]() flickr | myspace |

He has a good presentation on his myspace,
with the inspiration polaroids I was thinking his choice of music doesn't match though once I turned on my speakersI was expecting something toned down very nice collars ![]() ![]() -- I'm curious to know what these are... maybe trousers or vest ![]() flickr | myspace |

They look asif they're a combination between a waistcoat & cummerbund??? don't hold me to that.
Interesting you mention smart dressing...it seems to be Matthew Murphy's grooming policy at Bstore once he takes on the CSM or RCA graduates. It's a similar story with Carola Euler...if you look at Andres' first collection, it's rock & indie/grunge inspired, with lots of leather & checkered shirts, skinny denim & so on...Carola Euler was never as refined or dandy as we see now judging by her graduate collection. Does make you wonder if they're going in a particular direction to find success at Bstore, or because they actually want to evolve with that particular aesthetic... |
