I guess it's the first time ever I don't really like her collection.
piece by piece is nice, but the shape and the whole vibe just look not right.

You literally read my mind. Its the usual Demelemeester, but it seems something's off .. its not like something's wrong with the collection, I just dont feel anything from it.

Yeah, yellow runways are never a good thing, leave that for Pucci, Ann!.

That being said, I find this utterly beautiful .. I love how she sculpted all these textures into one straight silhouette and the dimension she added with the layers, the hems, the tiny fringes, I don't know if I'm seeing things here but there seems to be a small celebration to cultures from the -Stan region non?, especially the boxy jackets, the patterns and the way the thin fabrics hang below the waist.
The hats are awesome, too, I need one of those!

I love her for her somberness and how she's married it with poetry, but when she leaves the latter working on its own, even though it isn't what I am waiting to see, she still hardly gets it wrong.. she conceives all these concepts like tradition and/or romanticism in the same complex way her more 'darker' collections do.

yes I love this, but the runway threw me off... I'm used to dark Ann
but yes this is classic Ann with the layering and making her clothes seem so effortless
and not overworked. I am also in love with the hats and hybrid boot sandals

Pretty. Reminds me of a poet who has traveled several places and decided to pile up all his scarves as souvenirs. Ann's men's sandals are sooo cool. Wish she'd make more flat sandals for women!

I'm enjoying this a lot . It is utterly poetic. Like a desert knight who wanders into Ann Demeulemeester world; and she's doing all the sheer right, and perfect layering as usual.
