We would like to remind all members that hotlinking is not good "netiquette" and is not welcomed here or by the sites whose images are being hotlinked. Please remember that when you hotlink from a site, you are using their bandwidth. Each time someone loads the image you hotlink, that uses the originating site's bandwidth. This costs them money. We recently were advised by a popular fashion site that they would be blocking hotlinking from now on because of how high the usage was from the Fashion Spot. Additionally, many sites delete images or change their links after a short time, causing your hotlinked images to disappear. Moderators will edit or delete posts with dead links when we find them, since anything referring to missing images is of no use and clutters the forum. Please take advantage of the attachments feature or use an image hosting site.
