Some of the print mixing is effective. And I like that pant suit look at the top of post #3 (with the cape/brocade), but there is a lot here I kind of scrolled through too: very sweet looking. Hit and miss, for me.

Even the presentation is so unlike the Marras I loved.

The textures and prints are good but the way they're shown, the fact that they don't have half of the poetic content to begin with.. the overall silhouettes. This is something I expect to see from a rising talent in London.. not someone that's been doing this so consistently for years, even at financially uncertain times, that obviously has a clientele and doesn't need to resort to trendy stuff like this. I have a feeling it's a definite route for him, since he's been slowly integrating these commercial elements for seasons.. sort of an Anne Valerie Hash direction, which is always heartbreaking.
