They're very much the usual Armani with which we are familiar. Sleek, elegant, classic, and of the same style as always. This collection looks better to me than the past few - it is not stale.

Yes all very lovely and pretty and flattering and chic. But I see no variation or development in Armani Privé from season to season. The hats, the dress shapes, the make-up, everything. Is this is 3rd couture collection? Or 4th? Either way, this man is never guilty of pushing the envelope. I understand that his craft is to make subtle, well made clothes, and he created the line for the customers that wanted a little more, but I think this is a good oppurtunity to show his vision of his brand and he doesn't capitalise on it. I don't think this gives to fashion, I think it rides on the wave of publicity of Haute Couture. Fashion is a two way street, signor! Give a little, get a little. ...and we're all happy.
