I love the tops! So fantastically structured. And that splash of color is extremely gorgeous.

I think nicolas has progressed perfectly from s/s which was a totally unwearable collection, to a collection which is slightly less innovate, but much more wearable.
Although, i cant help but say that I am slightly disappointed. Many of the looks are beautiful, but none of it really overexcites me!
But those draped tops are really beautiful.

I'm glad he pulled through. It is a perfect followup to the experimentation of spring and a lesson Galliano can use when extracting from the 60's.
Hard aggro chic. Beautiful.
Carine Roitfeld has been poking at him, one can tell. Well, at least she's sorted this season...

I can't say I don't like this but a few things about it bother me. I definitely see what everyone is saying about the obvious Lanvin influence on a few of the pieces, namely the shapes of those patent leather dresses. The shape of those last 2 coats in post 88 are just horrible, they're not even flattering on the models! That said, it's a pretty good collection. Nothing particularly exciting about it, but all of the fall/winter shows ( for the most part ) have been pretty dull. I'm hoping McQueen will present us with something incredible.

hahahha! considering it's Balenciaga, I wouldn't be surprised if they were over $25,000!
