My favorites are the last looks with the sculpted/ruffled dress and skirts in black + white

Balenciaga's interseason collections are frighteningly good, and at price points that are more than equivalent to the main lines of many other houses. Thank God for their capsule collection, which is also AMAZING.

The lowest-price Balenciaga line, very wearable, everyday-clothes with a Balenciaga twist. Even so, they're brilliant.

Loved all!I thin that the twist of matirials and shapes is just on the edge of pret-a-porter so i loved how sheer fabrics mix with harder looking materials and that`s so in the style of Balenciaga! They offer a design to fall in love to ideas inspired from arcitecture and materials todie for!Good work!

I had the funniest experience the other day, stopping to look at something in a shop window and thinking 'Interesting jacket', then realizing I recognized it from runway photos. It was Balenciaga, of course. Up close its synthetic PVCness was inescapable, and when I went inside to look at some of the dresses from resort I wondered if Nicolas G hadn't gone a bit over the line experimenting with new materials.

Hmm, I couldn't find the look on style.com but it was a dark sheath (grey or black I think) with a pink latex bodice. It's just that the latex must have been hard to sew because the stitches looked like they had been made with a nail gun. Might have been from a different season but it had the Balenciaga label in it :/
