hmm... as with most balenciaga collections i need time to decide how i feel about them. i can't absorb everything at once.

the dresses do look beautiful, though.

Couldn't agree with you more mackos!! Godfrey's review made me thought the collection was gonna be incroyable..but this really is disappointing, I thought those jackets were kinda like a continuation of the ones in Fall 08 while the menswear ain't fresh to me But those shoes are definitely intriguing!!!

The first few looks seem more like the aesthetic of Comme des Garcons..whose collection I'm looking forward to see today

I'm disappointed. I like only few dresses. And why NG put menswear into that show? those guys looks like zombies. I don't like them. I hope video and music will save this collection.

HORRIBLE! This season is being so unpleasant, I've not seen yet something I like, it's quite desesperating. Last season in general was MUCH better, including Balenciaga's show (the jewellery was fantastic, the best of a lot of seasons ago...) and the cloths were quite good too, architectural, new fabrics, good patterns, good shapes...
The moment I was liking him (just for fw collection, it's not too much, but enough for me to give him an opportunity just to see what he presents next season as leader of one of the most emblematic fashion houses in the world of fashion. I think Balenciaga needs something different, althougn as I've said I liked fw season) the moment he does it again ,something bad I mean. I still keep in mind the nasty collection of fw07 :@, (how to forget it, in that moment I only wanted to burn each piece of cloth of the collection, including that horribles palestinians...).

The menswear is amazing....
I would love to see the leather like silk fabrics....
I love the way he using those new fabrics....I love the menswear love it love it...
The womens are ok, a little bit predictable

The menswear is boring beyond all reason.
Some of the dresses and jackets are cool.
Everything else is just ugly and not a good ugly (not to mention that carpet haha).

I'm not feeling too much aboout the collection now, maybe more time for me to digest. And it's quite strange for Balenciaga to show menswear during the womens collection.

there were a few outfits in between those two (very very similar, from what i can see) that were successful too...and that i think are very cool...

the rest is just so...unflattering and 'ugly'..

oh and have to add that most of the menswear looks pretty good too...better than the women's at least..

Taking it in slowly... not loving too much of it but I DO love mostly all of the jackets and skirts!! Lovely pieces that you could definitely work with. The rest.. I'm really not so sure just yet.

The menswear is niice. I don't mind the collection actually... mainly because it really looks like his work rather than copying Cristobal's...

The menswear looks sleek! I like it. But the womenswear...I don't know yet. Some of the jackets looks great, but I'm still trying to digest this. I'm used of liking a Balenciaga collection the moment I see it.
