i have the probably ignorant idea a presentation is done in a room with few press people. ?

edit: or more like only press people and clients? >_<

i like it, it looks young, fresh, wearable and there for promising, but i guess they are starting from cero at Balmain, this is for a much younger cliente, what i like the most is that it looks real, adressing a real persson not like the collections from the other two designers after Oscar (who left in july 2002).

omg I am so happy that they have a collection out now. Balmain has been one of my favorite houses; I was just telling my French teacher that I wanted to design for them and expose the world to the great couture and style of Pierre .

I'm liking most of the outfits posted so far!
(pic 1's contrast between the shoulder straps & the vest seems too great, prefer the other ver in #2 pic2)

I like this collection more and more as I see the other stuff coming in from Paris...seriously, I appreciate fashion as art, but I like wearable stuff too. This is very elegant and tasteful and I wish the Pierre Balmain house much luck getting started up again.
