well, is that means all those designers doing retro 20s, 50s and even 80s are all cliche now? that's inspirations, not cliche mind u, or should i say there's definitely a bit of sour grape in this, hehehhe....

I love men in BW's clothes and as a female I like and wear his women's designs, too! I think this collection is a visual presentation that wants to deliver a message. I do not view this in terms of clothes. In that context, I think he deserves some credit!

they're not 'campaign' images just his look-book images. bernhard doesn't do adverts he has no money to.

I think menswear usually sidesteps this...aspect of masculinity for the sake of practicality and the fact that few people will look this 'right' in the clothes. For all these interesting aspects of the work he's doing, I'm surprised he'd allow the model and the pornographic aspects of the shoot to override everything else that's there. But no skin off his nose: it's a thin line when you're trying to emphasize that kind of physicality and that kind of sexual aggression anyway...

I actually always have the feeling that you can only judge bernhards clothes if you have actually seen them in real life. There's a lot of underwear in it, but I also see nice sweaters, jackets and shoes. I also have the feeling that he made this kind of collection because when he produces his mens line in japan they wanted him to be me more commercial, and now he produces it in belgium again he can be more bounderyless. and bw became a lot more popular last year, maybe he didn't like that.

I am a big fans of bernhard willhelm before, i owend over 20 of his item but now i found him not interesting anymore. His design are too strange and really ugly now, not creative at all, if wearing all his clothes and walk on the street just like a stupid ***.
