Fall/Winter 2007 is the best season for me! The designs during that season were so...CHIC!!! Dior, Chanel, Prada, Dolce and Gabbana, Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs, John Galliano, Valentino, Gucci, and many more were so AMAZING! Definitely one of the best seasons in recent memory!

I'd give anything for another Fall/Winter 2006 to happen again. From ready-to-wear to haute couture, even the menswear, it was just an all-around great season (year tbh).

Since I can only speak for the more recent seasons, I like S/S 2009, S/S 2010 and S/S 2012 (except, unfortunately, my favourite brand Miu Miu).

Hands down Fall/Winter 2006. Pretty much every designer was in top form and so many shows that season have become so iconic - McQueen's "Widow's of Culloden," Marc Jacobs' Grunge revival, Prada's angry cool girl, Balenciaga's tour de force archival reinvention, Olivier's heartbreakingly poetic chimney sweep collection at Rochas, etc. Pretty much every show was impeccable.

Hasn't been a season quite so superb since. It's kind of been a slow decline since. Seasons that followed fairly immediately after Fall/Winter 2006 were still pretty good (ie Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter 2007 were strong seasons)...but since 2010 I feel like there hasn't been a real memorable season that had a clear message that meant anything. I think a large part of the decline in quality is the overwhelming number of designers and collections showed these days. Look at the style.com list of designers for the Fall/Winter 2006 season and see how few are covered in comparison to Fall/Winter 2013's insane amount of shows. With that many designers, it really is impossible for there to be any kind of substantial movement or message for the season that is impactful, or even interesting, for that matter.

S/S 2010 was amazing for me. It was my first season actively following fashion and there were so many collections I loved.

I'm still a teenager and haven't been following fashion for too long, but from the seasons I can remember, S/S 2011. Prada was practically perfect, McQueen was mesmerizing, Lanvin was lovely, Stella McCartney was sweet and juicy, even Dolce&Gabbana was delightful with that white lace. And then came Holly Fulton with her exciting Egyptian collection, and many more. I loved it!

F/W 2008 - Balenciaga's is one of my overall favorite collections of all time. Amazing (influential) collections from Alexander McQueen, Prada, Chanel, Ackermann, Givenchy, YSL, Rick Owens, plus many more.

F/W 2010 - Lee McQueen's last collection and what a GLORIOUS collection it was! Absolutely stellar collections from Balenciaga, Burberry, Céline, Balmain, Louis Vuitton(!), Lanvin(!!), Alexander Wang, Miu Miu(!), Prada(!!), YSL, The Row, and Victor & Rolf.

F/W 2011- The season Haider Ackermann made me cry - the only other time a collection elicited tears, the other being McQueen's last. Alexander Wang, Céline(!!), Bottega Veneta(!), Alexander McQueen, Christian Dior, Comme des Garçon, Christopher Kane, Givenchy, Gucci, Junya Watanabe(!!), Yohji Yamamoto, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Marc Jacobs, YSL, Proenza Schouler, and Maison Martin Margiela also stood ahead of the pack with brilliant and mememorable collections.
