I don't mind metallics, they can be really powerful, but it's usually a sign of weakness when a designer has to rely solely on them make a statement. And that's what Molinari seems to have done here. As far as I'm concerned she lost her touch years ago. Blumarine has just become another Eurotrash, Juicy Couture-type brand for those who don't actually have any real style but just want to attract attention with gaudy clothes.
Meanwhile, that being said, a smart stylish woman would know that carefully selected pieces from this collection can add a nice kick to a boring outfit, like those metallic pants or those bitch boots.

Blumarine have always bordered the tacky/trendy line so I don't think this is very different

however, while I can sometimes appreciate an overly cohesive tacky collection simply for its honesty, this is too all over the place to enjoy.. it reeks of desperation

I like it, it seems like a fun collection and the models look good. Much better than Versace. I especially love all the colors.

Tackier than ever! A few nice black dresses, that's it.

the earrings are so bad they ruin the otherwise pretty dresses at the end!

ugh, why Why WHY?!

I used to like Blumarine 6-7 years ago and it's just gone waaaaay downhill.

Used to be fun, playful, a bit bohemian...
Now it's just garish, pop tart, tacky, saccharine fashion...

^ I'm trying to remember who's the one that did things tastefully at the house (at least at Anna Molinari), was it the mother or the daughter?. eta* it was her daughter, Rossella Tarabini.

Again, it's the kind of collection that makes you want to pretend Milan never happened. Yesterday was London, tomorrow Paris and this was only a bad dream.

I cracked up with these looks btw.. I want to gather 3 girls and dress like this for Halloween, and I'm 100% serious.

Are you in my head?! Those looks are the WORST!!

The last two especially stood out to me as the worst of the collection.
I hated those tiny metallic shorts and that last look of animal print overload is so incredibly laughable...
It's like Josie and the Pussycats or something...
