It's nice to see him using real colors here...none of those clay, mauve, taupey shades he feels so comfortable with.

I actually like the slightly harder edge this has, not necessarily in the clothes, but the overall look and feel. It's less delicate and "pretty" than usual, a bit more well balanced in the strong/soft sense, and dare I say, kinda sexy.

My main complaint is the lack of those oh-so-painstaking details that I've come to expect from BV.

Absolutely amazing! Very easy pieces to wear but can make anyone look very sophiticated and mature. The lack of colour is the only drawback I can think of.

The draping and colors are gorgeous but it's a little boring...

i really like this...
there's a nice mix between the drapey pieces and the architectural ones...
the color palette is gorgeous, and i love the gowns...
i don't think the colorblock beige and black pieces are working as well as the solid ones however, and some of the bags are hideous...

^ Actually there are at least a couple camel dresses (Love love love the one that ties at the side ...) He seems to go more neutral for spring (Hopefully not this coming spring tho ...)

Noo that's what I was saying because the camel colour doesn't appear until later on so I mock panicked thinking there was going to be a complete absence.

I like this burnt red/maroon colour.

I'd like to see the unicolour look making a return again this season I hope more shows up !

Going back to the early '00s, I really liked BV under Giles Deacon and then I liked it, in a completely different way, under Maier.

But I must say, I found the last two collections very dull and I am, therefore, very glad to see that this one is more interesting.
