What a let down . I suppose it will grow on me, it's just so matronly for Maier.

This collection does seem a bit messy, but in a harmonized way, if that makes sense. Interesting pieces and a nice collection overall.

The shoes are gorgeous and I was feeling a couple of the handbags and there are some pretty dresses and suits in the collection, BUT there was also a whole lotta hot messiness going on. I suspect that Bottega Venetta hired the cast that they did to help sell the clothes and that is not a bad idea in theory but models dressed like Jackie and walking like Marilyn makes no sense. I dunno, I think that there is enough good there and perhaps the campaign should meet somewhere in the middle like Elizabeth Taylor, Doris Day or Natalie Wood.

What a wierd collection... First part was like granny clothes, the lace outfits, those were nice. Some looked a bit unfinished. And the gowns...what a wierd choice of materials... not a fan at all..looks really messy!

Really nice collection. Some of the pieces reminded me of "Mad Men". One or two of the pieces reminded me of Chanel.

^I agree. Very 1960's looking clothing. Very pretty (but at times, a bit messy looking) clothing. I'm mixed about the collection, because I liked most of the looks (Natasha Poly's short dress was to die for), but at other times (the 3 dresses at the very end), i thought the pieces were just awful.

I love they kept those Pre-Fall block-coloured coats Kasia and Sigrind are wearing, they're wonderful.

I liked some of the simpler skirt suiting and lace looks. The gowns were nice as well.

I thought we already had enough of the 1960s, but I guess BV hasn't. It's extremely beautiful and has a really nice romantic quality. But I can't help feeling overwhelmed by all the distracting layering and lace details.
