It's so classy and wearable yet extremely boring and sad. I feel like some of the pieces are like expensive Zara and I think I just saw the ugliest sweater in the world.

My only thoughts were "annoyed to see Kendall, nice to see Adriana, good diversity", the clothes did not provoke any reaction from me because they're so boring and kinda sad

Grand, styling hand is too heavy at Bottega. It may be time to shake things up a bit. This is beginning to look all to familiar to the past FW shows at this label.

Nonetheless the offering of separates and range is always fantastic!

Yawn. It doesn't get any more boring than this.

Serving some Jason Wu-esque snooze fest realness.

If Wintour is right and it's all about 'a sense of a dream; an emotional connection' then I think that has been established here. Maier's woman is someone who has it together, not someone merely content to project. While much of the styling reflects bourgeois cliches, the amazing fabric treatments, sewing techniques and casting reflect an overall sense of things being neither what they seem nor what they 'should' be. This eeriness makes it of our times.

I love Maier's work, he's one of my favourite designers really, but ever since Katie Grand got involved with Bottega Veneta, I've found that I lose my admiration for the brand a bit more every season (although last season was impressive). I just feel that there's an underlying uncomfortable tension between her showy styling/"vision" and the key staples and styling quota of BV.

This collection is chic on the face of it but I think that the stripes upon stripes upon stripes is a bit too much here, although I really like some pieces. It's all ironically a bit Prada/Louis Vuitton 2010 though, no? The belts over jumpers and skirts is very Prada F/W 2010 actually!

I really love the plaids, they are in that right color tone, so urban.
