Very chic. Nice colors, Forties Glam with a bit Blade Runner. Binx looked so good in the golden gown!

PS: Thank you for posting, Cute!

Exceptionally chic! This brand never fails to give such a well-made and beautiful collection! What I love about this collection is the serene harmony of the colors! From the vivid pops of orange and yellow, fading to the muted pastel pink and blue, then ending with an evening of shimmering silver and gold!

Typical Bottega Veneta. I'm never really satisfied with what he delivers these days because deep down I'll always expect more from him. He found a formula that works for him and the brand but It's not exciting. We've seen these 40's dresses from him many times before as well as this color palette. I can't fault the menswear. It's always fabulous.

The menswear is good. It's modern, chic and effortless.
The same cannot be said about the womenswear...
The look on Mariacarla and the girl before her, the look on Joan and the two last gowns are great. The rest is meh... To literal. It looks fresh on 17 years old girls but it will look old on 30 something woman and i don't think a 40 something woman will even wear it.

The spring collection was great but BV is in auto-pilot right now. It's maybe time to bring another designer to boost the brand. Tomas did some wonderful things but it's time to move on.
They should do what Hermes used to do: bring up some very well-known designer for 8 years each.

In Kering's press release about 2016 annual results they said of Bottega, "going forward, it intends to pursue its strategy of re-energising the brand." I guess that starts AFTER this collection because this is boring and forgettable. Tomas needs to turn it up and shift gears, there might be a target in his back with Bottega being the only declining brand in the Kering stable.

I actually like some of the pieces, but it's not great overall. It's a look that's been done (and done better) too many times before, and everything looks boring.
