I agree, some of the silhouettes weren't flattering. And some of the coats were nice but then the weird sleeves ruined them

I liked it, all in all. Some of the coats really stood out. I would love to own a few. The music and the snow was niiice. But overall, I don't think the show was very remarkable/rememberable in a special way.

Very interesting. The coats are glorious. Can't wait to see more.

It echoed Cristobal Balenciaga so much, those exaggerated shapes were outstanding and the color pallet magnificent, the only pieces i wasn't really fond of were the check print coats, but they weren't a major hate of mine.
The ending to the show was brilliant, the snow flakes, i was expecting water, but after the fiasco of many models falling at the menswear, they had the re-think that idea, although water would of been better IMHO.
The shoes for me however remind me of Louis Vuitton Fall 2008/09.

Looks nice. Seems like a new direction for the brand. I can't say I'm sorry for missing the show, though. The last one was awful

Such magnificient collection, with so many great points : the soundtrack, Jourdan opening and closing, great casting, and of course the clothes.
I was scared after the horrendous menswear show, but this was a real pleasure. The play on proportions which looked a bit awkward in the mens collection, works perfectly here. Each look makes an incredible statement. The silhouettes are seriously addictive, w/ the contrast between the over voluminous upper part, and a bottom part whic is slimmer . I love the freshness of the opening coats, with those bright colors. But I have to say that the white section, was definitely the highlight of the show. With the music and everything, there was really something enchanting about this section. Finally, I've to give them a special credit for the fabrics. The use of fur was absolutely stunning, and even more when mixed with wool.
My only complain is that sometimes, it reminded me abit too much the infamous Balenciaga Fall 06.07 collection.

The music was fantastic. First sountrack was Lesley Gore You Don't Own Me.
The Soundtrack was infact :

You Don't Own Me - Dusty Springfield

It's a Hard Life - Roger Daltrey

Someone Like You - Adele

You Don't Have Say You Love Me - Dusty Springfield

Gorgeous line. Although, I'm not happy about all the fur this time around.
I do like how he changed it up a lot though. I was actually quite shocked at how different this line was compared to the last one.

But I felt my heart stop when I saw some of the pieces, they were so beautiful.
And all the white is fantastic!

As much as I would like to be able to like the show, I can't. All those unflattering shapes and that plaid pattern + the worst thing about the show: those ugly hats

I was so excited to see the show!
Love beige and plaid coats, and how designer make a real fur coat so slinky...
And shoes are gorgeous.
But those hats - argh... disgusting. As Topshop Unique coat a la Cruella De Vil was.

Oversized coats look too bulky on those thin models, don't understand how it can be beautiful. IMHO

^The hats were not cute. lol.

And those lumberjack coats are a huge NOT as far as I'm concerned, but all of the great pieces more than made up for those.

The F/W 2006 Balenciaga collection was an archival one, so yes an argument can be made that Burberry F/W 2011 is derived from Balenciaga, but not necessarily Nicolas Ghesquire's Balenciaga but Cristobal Balenciaga's Balenciaga.
