I absolutely love what I'm seeing thus far. Like most everyone has said, the styling for this show is superb, but that's a given. The layering is smart and crisp and I love the intelligent use of color. Nothing is too garish, like a few of the Prada trenches I saw in the other thread. But the proportions are interesting, and pieces shine.

I'm very, very impressed with this.

I agree with you. To me the last two collections were really fabulous starting from the very first sight. Everything, from clothes to accessories were just incredibly delicious. To be honest, I don't feel so much about this collection yet. I just watched the video on burberry.com last night. Except some sweaters and one or two bags, I didn't see anything I want very badly. The other thing is, how can we short guys possibly pull off those baggy looks? Those loose-cut pants with hundreds of pleats will never work on us. What about those broad-shouldered trench coats? So these 1980's looks are really coming back? Dolce&Gabbana were also doing these in their show yesterday, right?

I don't want say this collection is a flop, I need to see more pictures of runway looks to make judgement, but so far, what I've seen are not so impressive to me as the last several seasons.

Having seen more of the show, I can see why you'd say that.

I really like the bags in the collection, Overall it's a good collection, it doesn't feel all together summery enough for me.

Magpie effect, I like all of the bejeweled, metallic, sparkle, the crusty shiny oversized tuxedo pant...if not already mentioned, video's up at vogue.co.uk
