Oh, I wasn't expecting this after last season's fiasco. This is a Burberry I can get on board with. I especially liked the middle of the show with the laces and coats.

I wish he'd do something totally unexpected. The colours are nice, but it feels like I've seen this all before.

All those coats and jackets are to die for. I'm not so much into the lacey pieces but it is, indeed, a beautiful collection. Lovely colors and everything is just very suitable for spring or summer.

I don't like it very much. It laks subtance, it feels flimsy and some looks are not very polished. The previous collections was better.

the lace pieces are beautiful, totally love the colour palette but argh some of those pieces thrown on top of the delicate lace just don't work

I applaud the new slouchy coat and jacket shapes he showed with the day-wear, and the sweater/pencil skirt combo is always a classic. However, I am already tired of the cakey pastel colours and the see-through lace; they felt a tad maudlin with the more sophisticated shapes.

Bailey's done better and he's done worse. This collection was fine; I generally prefer Burberry's S/S collections as the colours are usually really beautiful. Better than 80% of what's been shown so far in NY and London, but that's not really saying much...

I just can't get down with the slits at the back of the skirts and that transparent, knicker-flashing skirt on Liu...was probably meant to be cheeky but just looked silly and even slighty lewd.

I do like the shoes and some of the sweaters. However, the "slouchy coats" just look kind of lazy to me and the lace and translucent blouses look trendy to the extreme. I'm seeing clothing like that everywhere and it's a little irritating at this point.

An accurate title for this collection would be "Déjà vu"!!

I like how you could mix and match pretty much everything in the collection. They're the sort of shades that complement almost every other colour, bar neons. I particularly like the darker salmon pinks, and the colour of the jacket in outfit 6. I'm also a sucker for a slouchy yet still elegant coat. Thank you Prairie for posting the pictures.

Who is the model that opened?
