Never thought I'd say that one day about Céline under Phoebe; but all this is falls completely flat.

I quite like it all, the only thing I don't care for hugely are the huge belts, the proportions are a little too much for me.

The editors are loving it, most of them have said it's the best Celine collection yet.

i was so looking forward to this but i just really can't like it!
the shoes are way too heavy, as are some of the first looks for a SS collection.
i don't mind some of the white shirts and other tops, but they are nothing new. and i really can't get on board with the low slung wide belts.

also, i dont know if its the styling or the collection itself but i feel like there were too many different ideas going on.
some of the tops just do not go with the pants that they are styled with.
eg looks 31 and 31. the tops could be from a completely different collection to the pants, and i don't find the clash to be done in a good way

The shoes remind me of Japanese geisha shoes. IN fact the entire collection looks very influenced by Japanese culture. The folds, the tucks, the silhouettes, the kimono-esque shapes / detailing. Is it just me?

This felt VERY fall lol , some of it is nice and some of it is very sloppy especially towards the end . She is yet to top her Spring 2010 collection which was the best.

That being said there is a 40s and Japanese influence here . The origami cuts and pants , with the big platforms shoes especially conjure up a Japanese influence.

I don't know why but I'm getting a strong Prada vibe from this.
