Mullet I'm right there with you, and I'm not really one for minimalism by any means, but the cuts on these clothes were UNBELIEVEABLE. They're fitted to perfection, and the proportions were fresh for me. There was a play with volume that was new for Costa that I appreciated. The ultra-luxe fabric that was on the first couple of looks really caught my eye too. Great collection!

Thanks for posting Mullet.

It's beautiful. I love the play with proportions, it makes for some very nice silhouettes. It's very classic, but it still feels right for now, it doesn't stray into "safe" territory.

And some of the fabrics just beg to be touched.

i wholeheartedly agree spike...
and thanks for posting the pics mullet...

this is one of the best collections costa has done at calvin klein...
it's gorgeous and modern and sophisticated...
and i love that the hair/makeup are "quiet,"
the girls don't take anything away from the clothes...
and on the background, you see how wonderfully cut everything is...

I've seen better Calvin collections in the past three years, but this one will do. It's really slick (my favourite word of this fashion week), and for winterwear it's really light. Thank God.

the view from the rear is really good too...
hopefully when style posts detail shots there will be some back shots because that was one of the highlights imo...

*the shoulder detail i mentioned before is in the back..

The colors (or lack of them) are depressing but otherwise its ok. Seems like he's going back to the more classical CK.

I swear, NYMag is the slowest website around. It's been half an hour and I still can't see all the pictures. But from what I've seen, I love it. The shapes are really great! Didn't Costa win a CFDA award for best womenswear? It looks well-deserved, judging from this collection.
