I love it. I sort of appreciates the way this collection is being told as a mix of different lines within CK universe. Maybe it's because finally Raf is at his own element, I could feel the energy and the excitement form the collection. Obviously, it's not ground breaking but the clothes, after the Dior mess, look very well-made and tailored. It's a great debut and I'm excited for the direction he's taking. I feel like once, it's a full gear his collections would be fantastic. The oversized hooded jacket with quilt lining is total fab. Also those mirror clutches are going to be the next IT items.

I'm already seeing how much love the see-through pieces will get from editorials. This was a decent debut, radically-different from Costa's CK but that was to be expected. Quite interesting seeing Raf's take on Americana, especially the denim looks (which I though were some of the best looks). As usual his tailoring is superb and the menswear somewhat overshadowed the womenswear (a tiny bit). I'm also loving the feathered cocktail dresses, quite refreshing to see that type of fashion in a NY show (aside from Marc Jacobs).

All in all, I say Brava to Raf and Peter's first show! Glad to see them back!

I'm trying to look at all the references, from the native american patterns on the coats to the prarie dresses up to ck denim history...I like it!

This was a huge disappointment. The set looked like leftovers from his Sterling Ruby collection. I also see a lot of borrowed and recycled ideas from his own label. At this point, I'm tired of Raf's collegiate youth obsession. We see it at RS, we've seen it at Dior, and we're seeing it now at CK.

After his lackluster Raf collection in NY, I had feared he was spreading himself thin between two labels, yet again. That fear was realized and the two collections could easily be merged into one large collection.

First thought I had: This reminds me of Prada.
It's an okay debut I suppose.

on one hand all the 90s nods (esp to HL as mentioned) please me but this is just too antiseptic/austere to really grab me... one thing that was great about 90s fashion, even the stuff from the ny minimalists, was an undercurrent of eroticism (and no i don't strictly mean obvious stuff like strappy jackets). can't see this doing much better/worse than his predecessors.

Best from this collection: it reminds me of Helmut Lang´s 90s golden days.
Worst from this collection: it reminds me of Helmut Lang´s 90s golden days.

And the "americana" elements scream Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger...this is Calvin Klein, for god´s sake!!
