Do you really wants to see the clothes matching the theatrics?
Because i really don't....
I'm glad he did not included any astronaut in this collection.

A very down to earth collection for a rocket set. Nice contrast.

I think to appreciate Chanel, you have to see the clothes irl. By my own experience, i was very skeptical about his past collections and feel like it was all the time the same. I can confirm it is not. The details and the fabrics are the key with Karl. Chanel delivers always one of the best collections during fashion week and everything is so beautiful.

So i am in. The set is great and the clothes seem to be extremely pretty

Considering the dreadful state that fashion is in, "same old from Lagerfeld" actually translates to "pretty good"; at least to me.

Wow, luxury spacemen! It's actually quite a cool collection, with so many beautiful pieces. 90 looks is far too much, but I never get lost looking at Karl's chows, each piece is fabulously done. I really like the styling too, oddly enough, it's futuristic and cool without having to resort to silver headpieces and Barbarella boots.

Lagerfeld always spends more time designing the set than the clothes...I´d love it the other way around please.
PS: The astronauts prints are hideous!

It feels very Chanel 13 years ago... This collection made me so sad. I have the feeling any of his last collections could actually be the last, but with this one I had a very strong feeling that could happen...

I don't enjoy his shows from a design point of view, but the whole idea of KL and Chanel bring me so many good memories... Not having him will make the fashion world even a worse place to work in.

Beautiful set and clothes as always....

On a different note, much as I love Chanel (or Fendi for that matter), by KL, I never found his menswear attractive, or his own KL line, anyone knows why is that the case?

Well I can't deny that the set wasn't amazing but a shame that the same couldn't be said for the clothes.

I'm starting to believe that but I'd like to see Chanel under a new scope. Their collections have been predictable for years now.

Maybe because he doesn't really "design" for his own line. He design a very little range of dresses for his own line but 99% of the work is done by his assistants there. That's why they stopped doing runway shows.
At Fendi & Chanel, he only designs the runway collection.

It's true that the menswear is slightly weird this seaon. It's good in outerwear but i don't like the pants.

Yeah, Karl Lagerfeld has nothing to do with his own line. He just goes to Amsterdam on Christmas for the party and that's it. What a diva. The rest is done by a dutch team and they just talk with his assistant.

Funnily enough, the only guidance he gives is to not use profile pics of him for the illustrations of the garments. But then the logo is just his profile. Gotta love him.
