Something old and something exciting.
I love the construction feelings of the dresses and some pieces are really stunning. But there are something that we've seen before or maybe to say many times before. Maybe that's the Chanel identity. I'm not fond of the wig, Karl must love it so much, we've seen it in the Chanel F/W 08 campaign already.  Still, can't wait to see the complete collection and wacth the video! |

yeah i agree the hair and the clothes is dedicated to Anna Wintour and her superheroes ideas costume. and it's really funny to see a beautiful and very expensive clothes with that Anna's wig.

This is so beautiful, everything I expected and more. The dresses are stunning and the shoes are incredible. I'm not too fond of the wigs myself but the girls look great, the picture frames around their faces are genius. Sasha is the bride no?
Karl I'm shedding happy tears. Can't wait to see the complete collection.

This is the perfect thread to come to after a little posting hiatus!
An amazing collection, as usual. (My only real problem with it is that set: I am so bored of rotating runways in the Grand Palais!) I love the wigs, they have a much more natural look than the ones at Lanvin FW07 and YSL FW08. It's also nice to see such a strong silhouette, with all of the looks with the gathered tulle and the pleats. (The wedding dress is absolutely spectacular! I wasn't 'wow'ed by the front, but the back is so glamourous.)
