Well, glad not to see denim now! I do like the estructure of the jackets and skirts, but I am not fond of the dresses.
And the even the models look weird on flats - in such a clumsy pose-.Anyway it means a little change for Chanel and rather positive one than denim boots and gloves

maybe karl would find that totally chic and modern and he would hire kong for the next add campaing. Imagine him holding Claudia in one hand and a 2.55 on the other

i've been zooming in every single outfit in the collection and there is so much more about the detail i would love to know about it's just so bad that press dont talk about this little details! the geometry in some cuts is just amazing, there's this sort of metallic paint in a few looks that doesnt look like embroideries (although it could be)

elle.com
and the one i am MOST intrigued by is this one

style.com

it looks like it's wrinkled/frown fabric at first sight... but a closer looks makes me wonder if it is braid sewn to it, or maybe it's some sort of matelassé!! fascinating!!

Above, it's suppose to be a flower/rose shape; I'd say.
And just in general, I don't see the whole early 20's age group, (I'm 19) but I also think the sweater jackets and suits could be warn on women in their 50's and 60's. I thought it spoke to all women this time. Something for everyone?

True...I mean, if Karl can find inspiration in Amy Winehouse, Kong may be a whole new direction too...!

This unfortunately reminds me of the scene in 'Blazing Saddles' where the Marlene Deitrich type heroine goes and changes into something more comfortable!
I love this collection so much. It's all so wearable, and the detailing is unbelievable. Even the little to the knee leggings, which I originally assumed were just on the model so she was actually wearing something below, have got hundreds of little pearls sewn on. I love the dress and jacket suit in the traditional Chanel tweed, and the short pink dress that looks almost like a nightgown until you see the embellishments and sheer amount of work that's gone into it.
The flats give the collection a slight unfortunate eighties feel, but they look really good on most of the outfits (like the two I mentioned above).

Most of the collection is very wearable...I think more for younger women though...IMO

If a girl had the cash...there is a lot to buy there...

Like they say runway is expression and just a snip of what you'll actually see at the stores. For expression, the collection was nice.

Say what you will but the presentation was flawless like uncut ice and Devon in that last dress was something out of an absolute dream.

I used to love each Chanel collection, but this one doesn't really excites me, maybe it's because of the horrible hair or flat shoes. Plus I don't like this giant Chanel jacket either.

Beautiful I love it
though he killed it putting flats, the dresses and models look unstyled...
to me flats and HC never go well together so with a good pair of gorgeous heels the dresses and all the rest are beautiful
